He Made Poem by Gary James Smith

He Made

Rating: 5.0

He Made

He made heaven, the earth and the sea
And all that in them is
Isn't the Creator wonderful
For such great power as this
But greater still then all ofthat
And for this I really praise Him
Hemade a way of escape
From the enemy that's called Sin

Our transgressions sunk us good
We were lostwithout a hope
Until Lord Jesus came to earth
And handed us a rope
A lifeline to Heaven if you please
By dying for our sin
Then rising again from the dead
To give us Life in Him

Now rejoicing is our flag
We raise that banner high
Praise God redeemed by the blood of the Lamb
Glory! .. Testify!
To Him be all our praise forever
What authority in that One
Father... Son and Holy Spirit
Wonderful Three in One!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
God Be Merciful

God be merciful to me a sinner
Was one man's temple prayer
The other fella stated all of his goodness
No humility there
A repentant heart is a must
For Christ to save a soul
It is definitely a prerequisite
For one to be made whole

For not our own righteousness is worthy
To come before the Lamb
But we must see ourselves as needy
And He the Great I am
And as a child come in humility
To enter the kingdom of Heaven
We must come just as we are
Then Christ will be our Living

With a broken and a contrite heart
We see what our sin has done
It nailed the Lord to Calvary's cross
To die for everyone
And true acknowledgement of our sin
Our Father loves to see
And sends His Spirit to impart
His life for Eternity
