He Picks Me Up When I Fall - Poem by Gene Floyd

When I find myself up on a mountain
When I find myself in the valley low
When I try to do my best and I stumble
I find he's there to pick me up where ever I go.

When I think of given' up this ol' battle
When I fail when I've given him my all
I reach up for the hands of my saviour
He reaches down picks me up when I fall.

Each and every tear which falls are numbered
When pain's in our hearts it moves him
When the enemy moves in like a roar'n lion
He's there to hold me in his arms time and time again

When I started out on life's journey
When I started out I promised him my all
I have found where I'm weak in him I am strong
He's there to pick me up when I fall.
