He Picks Up Those Broken Pieces - Poem by Gene Floyd

We may be shattered in a thousand pieces
A broken vessel became
Can't look into other faces - we may think
We're to blame
We might think no one care's about us
We might think we'll never win
Give Jesus all those broken pieces
Let him put you together again.

We want so to do our thing
Sometimes we try it on our own
When we fail our hearts are broken
But remember we're not alone
Someone searches because he love's us
Tho a broken vessel we've been
He picks up those broken pieces
Puts us back together again.

May seem our world 'round us crumbles
No real friends can be found
Jesus is because he loves us
Never ever lets us down
In his love'n arms holds us
In his love'n hands then
Picks up all those broken pieces
Puts us back together again.
