He Rescue Me Poem by Gerry Legister

He Rescue Me

Rating: 3.0

For me, there is a certain

Confidence in the future,

Faith purely found within

The power that can rescue.

Without boundaries or limitations,

The measure of such intensity

Provide the strongest foundations

Grace; that love beyond anything.

I was alive, and sinking deep inside

Just for taking the wrong road,

I live for that life in places undeniable

Before I exchange the world I hold.

Fellowship affirming his affection

The blessing was sure to follow

But I did not deserve the compassion,

which would replace all things that I know.

The rescuer held me in high esteem

Within his heart, there is love for me,

And never shall any of my deeds redeem

from the desperate state I saw destiny.

Now with care, I lay my burdens there

For one defining moment,

I sacrificed rare my soul upon the altar

Of devotion and commitment.
