He Said Let Me Poem by norman hale

He Said Let Me

Let me be your partner
Let me be your friend
And I will be there with you
Right to the end

Let me guide you along
And show you wrong from right
For I will be there for you
To guide you both day and night

Let me show you the way
To my very Promiseland
I will show you my place
Beyond the dreams of mortal man

Let me carry your burdens
As they become too much to bare
And I shall get rid of them
Just to show how much I care

Let me show you my light
Like a lighthouse helps a ship
And I will guarintee you
That it will be a pleasant trip

Let me have your pains
And I will set them free
All I ask you to do
Is give them all to me

Let me have your dreams
And I'll see what I can do
To make them come alive
Just to show how much I love you

So let me have your hand
As I help to see you through
Your lifes strifes and struggles
I promise you'll see skies of blue
