Healing Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Healing

Reflect closely on the moments in time
Not all have the rosy glow of fine wine
Painful memories may bleed of red…
not visible… but still burning like acid

There is a tendency to linger in dispair
Until realizing the splinter is no longer there
Rethink and don't agonize… dismiss festering
Remove the blinding clouds that are encircling

Overcome the powerful waves of the tide
Courage surfaces as self-doubts subside
Perceive and praise the moments of now
Healing occurs when forgiveness is allowed
