It's hard to realize
Difficulties of life
When one tends to live
In comfort, undisturbed.

Downtrodden lives
Starting from childhood
And broken relationships
Lead to isolated souls.

One must develop a way
To observe society deeply
To find ills we create
And how they affect people.

Untended plant grows
Haphazardly indeed
One must provide support
In a timely manner.

A sound society needs
Care of the individual
Knowing this will help
A healthy community.
