Heart Beats - Poem by Miroslava Odalovic

Feeding the earth
By ancestral blood
Are children’s hope
For the days to come
The cells of darkness
Cellars of pain
From now on be in light
The sum of sound and silence
Place on common altar
So that the heart
Does not beat in vain
