How can you fall out of love
Faster than you fell in?
Why can't I see past the smile
Behind the goofy grin?
I know you must be feeling something
I know you must hurt too
I know I'm not the only one
Who's left without a clue
You told me I was yours to hold
And then you walked away
I gave so many promises
And old-time love cliches
Now I'm left here standing
Bent and bruised and all alone
Left here crying on the floor
With a broken heart of stone
