Heart's Pulse Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Heart's Pulse

Rating: 3.0

Heart's pulse, a rhythm deep within my chest,
A symphony of life, a whispered song,
Each beat a dance, a secret love confessed,
A melody that carries me along.

In quiet hours, when shadows softly fall,
My heart, a compass, guides me through the night,
Its steady throb, a beacon for my soul,
A lighthouse on a dark and stormy flight.

And when the world grows cold, and hope seems lost,
My heart's pulse sings a promise in the dark,
A gentle hum that bridges every cost,
A flame that flickers, leaving not a mark.

So let it beat, this sacred, silent drum,
My heart's pulse, echoing forever, 'come.'
