Heaven Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

Heaven

Heaven is a place that is almost out of reach
We hear it all the time from those people who preach
Its almost impossible how it would look like from our perspective
We gather our thoughts and imagination almost becoming selective
They say heaven is a place where all our fantasies and desires meet
To travel the distance and places without using our feet
I sometimes question the Church's own explanation
Of where could we find heaven and its exact location
Could it already be seen with our own naked eye
To be the stars in the heavens on the day we die
Some books and movies have their own story of heaven and hell
Movies that we could see everywhere and the books they sell
But which version is really the accurate and correct one
The Church or someone who came back after he was dead and gone
My own version is simple, brief and uncomplicated
Easily understood by the smart ones and the uneducated
Heaven is the cosmos we speak of in general
Where the soul of the righteous go and even the immoral
To be the stars in the constellations up above
Its the symbol of God Almighty's undying love
Inside these stars are minds or souls are alive and well aware
Of the punishment or reward to take place under God's care
There are no regrets in facing God on his throne
For we will all reap whatever we have sown
Reunited again with our dearly departed
Without feeling any doubts once confronted
A place where there is only joy and no pain, anger or hate
Now this is my very own version and that is my faith
