Heaven's Door Poem by Echo of the forest

Heaven's Door

Rating: 4.8

We are familiar with the shapeshiftings of this world.
We know the words and the silence
behind all masks
and the doors which each of them open.

We know them so well that we see masks
on all faces
even where they aren't.

But there is a door
in front of which all masks tremble
and can not personify themselves.

Behind which no password, no enchantment
can sneak us in.
The Door that forbids you
to lie to your heart.

What a lovely poem especially in light of John 5: 28,29. The Message came across clearly. Read mine - If There Be No God - Adeline

Conscience, yes! I guess the door has it written somewhere, we may find it if we watch it mindfully. Another great piece to love, thank you for sharing!
