Heaven's Tree - Poem by Amanda Swain

Flowering vines of precious stones
Bark of pure, deep blue sapphire
Orb of gold in its branches do show
His mark on Hell’s dark empire
Planted before life and time
It grew from tainted ground
Listen you may hear it chime
Twill make your soul resound
Look and you may see it shine
Twill make you ne’er look down
Do not fret; no please don’t fear
It will burn but you shan’t shed a tear
T’was meant to be this way
Every second of every day
Forever through eternity
