Hidden Hall Of Mirrors Poem by Amanda Swain

Hidden Hall Of Mirrors

Silver maze behind the door
Opens when I hit the floor
Little girl that’s trapped inside
Doesn’t know she lives a lie
Lost within a silver maze
Now the world begins to haze
Mirrors flex and bend too great
Rebound back and now they break
Glass flies, reflecting, tearing
At her courage, quickly wearing
The door is open, the deed is done
It’s far too late, she cannot run
From the horrors sealed away
In the hall, where she play
She must face the terrors
Within the hidden hall of mirrors
