Heaven, Take Me. Poem by Genevieve Surrender

Heaven, Take Me.

Rating: 3.0

If I didn't have a chance
to make these feelings pass
then heaven wouldn't see
to the other side of me.

If I no longer have
a way out of town
then the lakefront
isn't home to me anymore.

Until darkness comes
and takes me from your arms
I'll never forget your love
and I will no longer feel pain.

Truthfully, it can be either. Just know the topic involves 'love' :)

I like your supple lines. I'm not quite sure what you're saying, somehow-whether this poem is about love or the loss of love.
