Heavenly Sight Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Heavenly Sight

Today is so beautiful
with glistening white snow,
shining like crystal in the
sunlight's glow...gentle
flakes fall on barren oak trees
and clothe far-off valleys
the hills and the leas.

Today is so beautiful with
rapture and joy; children at
play, every girl, every boy.
Their hearts are so thankful
for a layer of snow ~ they
sing happy songs as they
dance to and fro.

Today is so beautiful,
filled with sweet love...love
that is pure as the snow
from above. The scene is much
fairer, the horizon is bright
as snowflakes caress
a 'heavenly sight'.
