Heaven's King Poem by Loyd C Taylor Sr

Heaven's King

Rating: 5.0

We sing of Christ's Birth, as well we should,
For a miracle happened that day!
From Angels proclaiming, to prophets foretelling
To Bethlehem they would make their way.

From Shepherds attending, to the Star that lead them
To the place where Jesus did lay.
From the wise men presenting, then bowing to adore Him,
Heaven's King asleep on the hay.

Nice piece on baby Jesus! Thank Him for his sacrifice. What could atone for sins apart from the innocent blood of the child, for indeed Christ was a child whose precious blood atone for our sins!

The sight of Infant Jesus... the son of Heaven's king peacefully asleep on hay in a manger is a beautiful and blissful sight! He lowered Himself to come down to Earth to be one among us! I enjoyed your poem starting with the prophesy of the wise men about the birth of a savior, touching upon the journey to Bethlehem and finally his birth in the humblest of humble dwellings!
