Held To The Lord's Ear Poem by james watkin

Held To The Lord's Ear

Held to the Lord's ear
In tendermost fear
Which savoured first, in terrestrial globe's
Rattle of life, dear

Notes of the warbler
Off boughs that quiver?
Oratorios on shore, or from heights
That splash, sublimer?

Moves Him most the meek!
Frog's minutest squeak
We may know, up through eve's raspier
Tiers of sound does sneak.
