Helen Poem by John Griffiths

Helen

You invoke in me a passion,
With the feelings of desire.
When we can reach the very top,
And still keep going higher.

You are like a butterfly,
That has a broken wing.
But, does it really matter!
Does it mean a thing?

Let me be a crutch to you,
Who can take away your pain.
I will be there for you,
Time and time again.
