Awoke under a black sky, a taste of smoke in my mouth
Bodies rotting, fires burned from the north to the south
The survived upon impalements, still writhing in agony
Demons and monsters, tearing flesh from their anatomy
Chaos reigns around me, am I the last to be alive here?
After Hell tore the dimensions, and they spread their fear
Acrid smell of death, the putrescence of decaying souls
A chard body beside me, the once eyes now black holes
Thunder echoes above, skies now blood red and black
Cries of the tortured, crying out for armies to turn back
For their fate is that of suffering, when the beasts dwell
Torn from limb and eaten alive, Earth is now their Hell
The breaking of bones as human arms, are snapped apart
Gorged upon and devoured, ripping out the human heart
Entrails shredded by teeth, zombies are of the half eaten
White eyes and no soul, before they were violently taken
Nothing of what once used to be, whole streets in ruin
Chard black landscapes, and now so much is left strewn
A little dolly I find, clutched by a skeleton of a child
I say a prayer, for her soul upon her they had ran wild
No one I see is alive, everything is dead; bodies remain
Cities ablaze under this bleak horizon, so much is in pain
As though Hell was upon the Earth, human race blighted
No foretelling of this event, this entire earth was ignited
Barely alive survivor, I stab his heart to relieve his passing
The air is thick with the stench of death, lungs are gasping
Entities and monsters patrolling, for the remainder of me
So hopeless I begin to doubt, mankind will never be free
But never shall I be forsaken, if these demons do catch me
I shall be ripped within my soul, and raped with obscenity
Left for my corpse so abandoned, for the rats to nibble me
Take the last part of pride, but I do survive upon this frenzy

Well I didn't want a nightmare so I had to curtail this read. I feel for you if this is your experience. You need new friends springs to mind. Good read if you like horror! which I don't, Hell on earth is certainly appropriate for this read, Tai
