Hello Mr Liberty Poem by Bella Pencil

Hello Mr Liberty

Rating: 5.0

Hello Mr Liberty,
standing tall and strong.
Hello Mr Liberty,
don't you know what's wrong?

People all around us,
taking power away,
People all around us,
being made slaves everyday.

Go on Mr Liberty,
why don't you lend a hand?
Go on Mr Liberty,
help the people in this land.

Everywhere around us,
they fall down to the ground.
Everywhere around us,
to their masters they are bound.

That's it Mr Liberty,
help them make amends.
That's it Mr Liberty,
help out all these men.

A hundred years of slavery,
a hundred years of pain.
A hundred years of slavery,
this we can't maintain.

Well done Mr Liberty,
these people now go free.
Well done Mr Liberty,
you listened to our plea
