Helm Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Helm

Helm

I want to
I must
Hand the helm
And the pen
And paper
To Childhood.

Let childhood write
And I
Under dome
Around me speakers
In I-Max
Sit, observe
The purity with purity
The joy with joy
The hope with hope.

Let simplicity flow
As did the water
In canals of the Kariz
Let's blink
With fear
When pigeons
Fly out of Kariz
As bullets out of gun.
Let's watch the shining ‘Penny'
Of owl's eye
Inside cave
Tiny one on hillside.
Let's stare at its white
No; pinkish-spotty
Eggs in nest.

Let's crawl to steal
Spotty grey eggs
Of crows.

Let childhood have
The Helm
And the Pen
And paper…
