Her Colors Poem by Randy McClave

Her Colors

I looked at the color of her eyes
They can't ever disguise,
They will show the very soul
That leads the feelings to control.
I then looked at her hair
The color and the shape there,
Which gives her joy and puts her at ease
Which unto her it does ultimately please.
I then looked at the color of her teeth
They are like a welcoming wreath,
Especially when she smiles
They are her ivory welcoming tiles.
I looked at the color of her nails
Her time and beauty and desires are their details,
When the same color is on her toes and fingers
Beauty and anticipation excitedly in her mind lingers.
When I first meet a woman that's what I see
When it's just her and me,
When I see her beauty I will always grin
And never do I notice the color of her skin.
