Her Me Poem by Shreyas Ashtamkar

Her Me

she's there, she's here
she does exist,
She lives, she cries,
She wipes away my tears,
and she smiles.

But that's all just inside me,
Just praying to be true,
Wishing she was also,
aboard with my life's crew.

But reality is not,
as different as you might think,
Every visitor gets here,
every guest stays,
the guests bieng tourists,
and i the tourist spots?
What is truth i ask
as soon as she does,
she replies without a thought
she knows the truth exactly,
as much as I do.
She thinks of our bond
it's weaker than van-der -waals
I tell her to see my life,
she hears just distress calls.

One confusion takes birth,
gives birth to another,
confusing me to some -
Where am I? o - brother?

Then comes depression,
as deep as Marina Trench,
but a spring lies at my feet.
Bouncing off the floor,
returning to the top,
Now she's here,
and so am I,
we live happily,

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
There was a guy, who liked a girl, thought that he loved her, but she had her own plans. He was very much into her. He saw nothing else other than her and her achievements. Se was also a poet. She had her blog too... She did not know how to deal with her. A person would have just been straightforward, as 'just don't like me' and 'stay away'. But she was different. Cause he was different. He had no greed, no wants, no ego, and biggest of all.. he respected her. He knew that she was right. He knew she was different. He knew she had a bad past. He did not force. He said he did not want any relation. He simply wanted to talk. BUT! Assumptions! ! ! One confusion, multiple confusions and it's like he was are lost in a forest of confusion. She was confused too, but she never showed it onto her face. She knew she was not wrong, but was not sure if he was right.
This caused him to get into depression, and here is a poem by him.

P.S. I like to refer to myself as a third person.
