Her Thesaurus Poem by Randy McClave

Her Thesaurus

She has called me every name in the book
In the dictionary some I had to go and look,
But, they were all insulting words indeed
Many of them, I had to reread.
I wished I could have washed her mouth out with soap
But, I knew that there was no hope,
She knows every word that is an insult or a curse
But, she can't even recite even one Bible verse.
I guess it was how that she was raised
And how she was talked to and punished and praised,
Every other word that she has ever used or spoke
Would cause some recipients to have a minor stroke.
Curse words are not all that exit her beautiful lips
Also comes different type of smoke and very bullying scripts,
Some of these words or lines I have never heard before
And I pray to God, that I never hear them anymore.
I guess her parents had cursed her as well
Using many words that should be used only in Hell,
Maybe her siblings had used them too
This and that curse and always ending with a "F" you.
One thing that would be sad and pathetic I would say
If her children curses and insults their mother's way,
Especially when news or actions to someone they need to inform
Because of their mother would they curse up a storm.
The Bible says that you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear
I guess from some people cursing you are expected to hear,
They show you their education and their true upbringing
What you hear in bars and pubs while drunks and sinners are singing.
I was thinking about buying her another Bible once again
The last that I gave her ended up in her trash bin,
But, I am tired of hearing her curses and her words so sinful and contrary
Now I think that instead, I am going to buy her a dictionary.
