Damon Harper

Her Whispers

The sounds my ears sip from my lover’s tone

In but just whispers

Express to me her sincere desires

Like the sweet nectar from a fruit

I consume every drop

My heart emits light now so blinding

It outshines even the sun

Treasured are my thoughts of her near me

I hold within me to savor

The precious time will come again

When we are together

Until then she is on my mind
