Here At Last. Poem by Talia Felix

Here At Last.

Rating: 5.0

How long the seasons has passed from the soothing soft slumber
How the years turn into short nights and how days show without thunder

How it goes down to nothing but air
how its existing that i cannot bear

I see it shine on me that blinds me like the ray of sun
How it soothes me and shoots me from his desert gun

Feel the blood running which does not belong to me
it is his
and I go down to my knees

Begging for this wound to die down and die through the days
Begging for the awakening that will soon feel hazed

Keeping my sanity is what might progress
Keeping it near to me is what I posses

Time has seen what this light has done
Gave me wings
For one sweet and so young

Why now for poison my arise
Why now for I will question in major sighs.

Why must you test me for I am not fully blossomed
Why must you bring me to this
For soon THIS poison WILL be blossomed

Give me the strength is for what I plead
Give me the heart which is what I need
