Here Comes Meghan Sparkle Poem by Sarah Mkhonza

Here Comes Meghan Sparkle

I am waiting to see her now,
this Meghan Markle who
sparkles when she says a word.

I love her sparkle as the words
crackle in her speech which comes
from the activist talk.

I wrote words and stored them in vaults
waiting to talk about her. I now think,
she is the spark that the world was
waiting for.

When do stars turn into princesses?
This is the time to see how it happens.
Let us wait so you can see the truth,
for here comes the woman, we have
all been waiting for.

No tiara can take the words she spoke,
and make them stand in our hearts.
We wait to see what tiaras will do.
For she has given life a shot, with the
right foot forward. Her words say it all
in the forthright talk on issues.
