Here Comes The Spring Poem by Dr Shamim Ali

Here Comes The Spring

Here comes the spring
The tree is prettified with green leaves.
Plants come into bud.
Buds into pretty flowers,
Learn their coloured shapes
Birds chirp in happiness.
Singing birds from the meadows rise
Humming the songs of pleasure
Coming here the springtime
Stars sparkle in the sky
Galaxy extends a big smile everywhere
Squirrels come out of their hibernation
Telling the sunny story
Roses and lilies
Spring is the world over
