Here I Am - Poem by Karla Glover

Here I am,
Lost, Incomplete
I need someone to save me,
Save me from myself
From this self misery.
I don't know how to do it myself.

Here I am. Save me

Here I am,
Falling into you.
In you I have found refuge
Here you are, to save me.
Save me from everything.
From the world's hateful loathing

Here you are, to save me

Here you are,
Broken and in need of repair
crumbling and struggling to get by.
Feeling like you are all alone.
Needing something to grasp
A grasp of reality.

Here I am, to save you

Here we are,
Together, mending as one
Anchors to the others soul.
Moons, shining in our darkest hours.

Here we are, saved, by each other
