Here Lies Him. He Lived To 81 Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Here Lies Him. He Lived To 81

Here lies him. He lived to 81.
a Judge he was erudite from Universities at Padua,
Padua, Oxford and native Malta.

Decades he sat on the bench but his erudition
Did not match his wisdom
‘Wisdom be the hallmark of the Judge
Compassion, equity, not just erudition
Sometimes I sinned against these Principles.'
My judgments not all agreed with.
For not earlier that all sides have a percentage right, however minimal.
But I was sinned against than sinning'
