Here’s To T Poem by Catherine Casey

Here’s To T

Here’s to T of mighty.
The emphasis in thunder.
Written twice in letters.
First rip in ‘torn asunder’.

The poshest part of ‘Atchoo! ’
The centre of a nation.
Three rounds in toasted teacake.
Applauded with ovation.

The one before the U.
The seventh from the end.
A telephone on maps.
A plumbers triple bend.

Three of which give testament.
In lower case a cross.
Initially to telegraph,
What after S is boss.

Two to make a tincture
And only one a tipple.
With own it makes a city.
In tow creates a ripple.

Using T in exclamation
Invert tut to make a blast.
The ultimate of first
And very end of last.
