Hey You Poem by martin Gedge

Hey You

POEM " HEY YOU" by martin gedge

Bright eyed and fancy free
hey you there just look at me
I'm busy as a bumble bee
you've got to love this face
for upside down just like a clown
to wear a smile or dawn a frown
I'm one that makes your world go round
and cannot be replaced
for sweet as pie you must comply
to cherish me as time goes by
and watch me grow from low to high
to never waver thought
I'm young and fun life's just begun
to hold me close and hug a ton
when I get sad or come undone
your all I've really got
and every day like kids we play
we will get hurt in every way
so don't get mad for when we say
the crayons are on the wall
we make mistakes and things will break
we'll lie a lot and often fake
and give you more then you can take
so be patient with us all
for down the line you'll surely fine
that over space and ample time
we will progress to show the sign
of what you do expect
to live and learn and in return
and be the less of your concern
to function well and mighty earn
the tools of your respect
but until then my dearest friend
I need you more then help can send
with all your heart we do depend
on everything you do
and every look and photograph
to make you smile and always laugh
we walk the same and chosen path
just me and all of you....
