By Adenekan Samson Kehinde
Much in frivolities
But less in yearning anticipation,
Nothing is much in the ocean of nothing,
All we seek are not lost but intensionally hidden.
We pray not amiss,
Just not bold enough
To claim the glory staring at our feebly fed souls.
Subjected to toil for all we already have,
Clamouring for things that are necessarily ours,
We seek not the void but the vacuum filled in us.
Hide us not from them,
Shield us not from their preying eyes,
But their hunting souls.
Save us not from those sweet punches
We constantly endure under their deceptive demeanor,
But from those truth we seek in the solitude of our fears.
Why hiding from things we seek?
