That last stanza where you explain the meaning of the title ismso wonderful! It does so manythings: It shows how a virtue likem hope must be nurtured and sheltered, that is, them himanwho will be gifted byGod must participatemin themprocess. It shows an intimacy between God and a human believer. There is a special actof faith ocurring as thwe speaker sleeps above the HIDDEN HOPE: it's like a participation inthe divinelife which is so ordinary and intimate it could easilym be overlooked.
