High Hopes Poem by Chukwuebuka Adebayo

High Hopes

Rating: 5.0

The morning is near
The sunrise will appear
when night will give its way
Don't let your lips stop to pray
Great are the joys at the door
Waiting you stand up the floor

For words that you cried in tears
The expectations you wished in fears
Rainbows and wildflowers are shinning
Very amazing things are still happening
Travelling under water to me is a boon
You may have heard men fly to the moon

When you were young, learning to talk
Remember the last crawl you took to walk
How you'd push through with your sleigh
Your day will come, just set your hope high.
Your chance is near, no reason to give up
Keep believing just be careful not to stop.
