Highway To Nowhere Poem by Austin Davis

Highway To Nowhere

Riding on the highway 55 Mph smooth driving
12: 00 at night where are we goin I'm high off life and I feel like I'm flying.
My baby sittin right next to me giving me this look that's sayin she wants it now.

I look back at her sayin I'm going 55; Baby How?
She said Boo I know you'll find a way.
I said alright baby OK.

We went on riding on the forever long highway.
Looking at everything that passed our way.
No cars just lights.

Dark as the cool breeze nights.
We were talking but I couldn't hear any sound.
Does she trust me? How will we ever get around?

I'v been waiting on this vacation for a very long time.
Now I have a god loving girl and she's a dime.
Funny names like Piglet and Pooh Bear.

I'm her Hubby and she's my wifey and hopefully she doesn't go anywhere
My life is going good right now i think I'm in puppy wove.
Our relationship is a highway I would never want to get off of.
