Himalayan Bride - Poem by Anita Sehgal

Resplendent in its snow capped glory,

Stands the tallest peak

-untouched.

Thinly veiled by the floating crowd,

Its fine silhouettes barely outlined.

Like a shy bride

Awaiting a lover.

The golden orb lifts the veil with a touch of his gentle rays.
