His Entrance Poem by Holly Jamestone

His Entrance

He entered my life as silently
As stocking feet grace a hardwood floor
His sweet presence bigger than life
His smile as bright as the moon's

Time stood still, our pasts of no concern
As he and I were then We
The wind at our backs
And our whole life ahead

He entered my life as gently
As a cool breeze lifts a rose petal
Our course falling into place the way
Scattered seeds seek fertile ground

No more stolen glances then
Just gentle intertwined breaths
Together witnessing the seasons rearrange
The windswept leaves and crystal quilts

He entered my life as quietly
As stocking feet grace a hardwood floor
His welcome presence bigger than life
His smile as bright as the moon's
