His First Time Poem by Linda Racaniello

His First Time

We walked along the river
With the sand between our toes
knowing this was the beginning
and our love began to grow

Hand in hand we waltzed
Under a sliver of the moon
Playing like little children
Dancing to a merry tune

He whispered in my ear
He softly touched my face
I saw the love in his eyes
and it made my heart race

He was so afraid
this would be his first kiss
what if he slobbered
or worse if he missed

His hands were trembling
his soul itching to be fed
he tried to unbutton my blouse
but fumbled instead

I tore off my shirt
in a hurry to undress
I removed my bra
put his hands on my breasts

My nipples hardened
by his tender touch
I could barely wait
I wanted it so much

He was afraid to mess up
He'd never done this before
He never kissed a girl
or laid with her on the floor

I was 3 years his senior
Just graduated high school
He was our lawn boy
and cleaned our pool

I grabbed at his belt
tore off his shirt
unzipped his pants
and pushed him in the dirt

We spiraled out of control
faster and faster we rocked
He couldn't control himself
our bodies were locked

I screamed his name
then heard him moan
We reached the peak
together not alone
