His Poems And Mine Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

His Poems And Mine

His poems and mine

Scatter flowers
And fill up the goblets
Then break galaxies
To redraw the ceilings,
If sorrow and armies
Come near for killing
I will join the butler
United, shatter him
By pouring maroon wine
In vase and clay bowl,
Go around and around
Smudge the sugar balls,
In your hand is good harp
Sing sweet and soft song,
Our bodies, tomorrow
Will depart go above
So, great and good lord
Pay attention, see us,
If you want paradise
Come with me to the bar
From there we will end
In garden of Eden.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is a loose and free translation of one of the Hafez Shirazi's poems. I like and adore it...such poems make me slow down in writing and spend more time in reading.
