History Poem by Rachel McLeod

History

This heart you've broke once again
I should have told you it never bends.
This girl you've hurt is screaming out.
The fear of darkness is faded now.
Thats all i want, the solitude, in a corner, in my room.

Emotions come when you're in sight
I just can't count the sleepless nights.
I close my eyes and there you are
in my mind, yet you're so far.

On this day we shall remain
this history of what you made.
