History... Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

History
Is not history
That you know,
That I know.

History lies buried deep,
Needs to be excavated
With the archaeological spade
And the digger not a common digger,
But a construction lay-out man
Digging and excavating to find
Golden artifacts and statuettes,
Urns or pitchers
Donning the mythological coat,
Wearing gum boots.

N.B. It is actually History, but as there is a poem of this name, hence the dots for uploading it as for a change.
