Holding Back - Poem by Racheal LaClair

We only have ourselves to blame
for not exceeding our potential.

We somehow blind side ourselves,
from what we really want,
maybe we are afraid of what's to come
with going above and beyond.

Pain and fear,
just two of the things that hold us back from ourselves.
