Holding On Poem by Ray Hansell

Holding On

Drawn to each other by feelings
Two hearts come together
Hoping that the love they feel
Will always bring them pleasure

But only time will tell
For no one really knows
If the feelings will stay
Or if love will ever grow

The road at times may get bumpy
But that's no reason to quit
Not as long as you both made
A vow to commit

Try to stay the course
Hopefully you'll make it through
Instead of giving up
Like too many people do

Living a life together
Will always be a test
But remember what drew you to each other
Hopefully will never be put to rest
