Holding You Here - Poem by Michael P. McParland
As I stay up just a bit longer my Angel
I so wish you were right here next to me
and I was so closely holding you.
Snuggling away while you sat here and rested
and I just read and watched some of a movie.
I love you sweet Kira and will soon be holding you.
I just wish I were holding you here
right now as I start to tire a bit.
I wish I could be holding you here
because I love and adore my Angel Kira to no end.
