Holly books
Tonight I
-chest ahead and head up
-want to write more about the Koran
Have read it
-in Farsi
-English
-Arabic
Not once but many times
-thirty is possible; and beyond
In times I held my pen
-as if sword or saber
-in times took a rose with
-great scent
But never dogma, nor fanatic
-never washed hands and feet
- (as respect for Koran,)
- (as if it "Must be done! ")
Never kissed, put on head
-or set it in high shelf
Don't agree with that kind
- "Keep it up, do not touch! "
This shop is for Mufti and Mullah
-to cheat us, sell to us
-what gives them good income
They seek a free ride on our backs
-to eat well when the rest of Ommah
-is in pain, hungry, and homeless…
This is how priests are
-regardless of their faiths
-if Muslim, Jewish or Christian
-include all others…
Holly books are holly
-I believe and respect
-through words, sentences
-not covers and papers…
Koran; no exception
-if it is left alone
-is the best
I read it researching
-to what time relating
-and ways of gathering
I follow Bazargan
-with his curve for verses
-based on time, occasions
Short and fast is each when
-Islam is beginning
-then after much longer, commanding
-since Islam has become governing
-Mohammad is head and accepted
Koran is poetic in each verse
-is wisely said; well-versed
Am proud that read it
-and will sure read again
-if allows length of life
To me who read Bible
-exactly in same way, same manner
-Holly books are great, valuable
All of them bear the same intention:
- "Forgive and forget and have respect
-for all of brothers and sisters
-with their rights, what they earn."
This meaning easily transfers:
- "Everyone is a child to God, so
-we are, all, "Equal".
-to parent child is child (daughter, son) .
