I don't think it's the 'sacrament called Baptism' that really saves a person... if baptism is necessary how was the thief that was crucified with Jesus saved? (see Luke 23: 39-43) . In the quote you give (perhaps John 3: 5?) , water refers to the first birth from the womb, and the Holy Ghost is the spiritual rebirth. To say that baptism 'Brings us to Christ' is simply erroneous. Water baptism is but a ceremony (don't get me wrong it's important; I'm baptized) . Please send me a message if you disagree with me.
