Homage To A Humanitarian Poem by Bisy Untan

Homage To A Humanitarian

Who taught us to make good fences to keep good friends for ever,
But I hear shoots in the air and the cry of babies in dead silence.
Who taught us and convinced that the color of the blood is red for all
But I feel love and brotherhood in the strong flow in his veins.

Who told him to ambush with gun to save his motherland,
With fear in his eyebrows and fainted courage on his face.
Then I saw the empty stomachs in his heart in doom
Stretching hands towards him!

When his body reaches in box by air,
Covered in flag to listen the shots in deafness
When his mother falls unconscious
Everybody sings and salute with pride and praise the hero!
