A home is a place
with comfort
and love

A home is a place
that will keep you safe

A home is a place that you can rely on
to take you in when there is no other place to go

My home has
and walls to keep me warm
and a roof to keep out the rain
and windows to show me the world

My home has
and beds to give me comfort
and water to quench my thirst
and floors to keep me steady

My home has
and chairs to give me rest
and lights to guide my way
and medicine to keep me healthy

My home has
and tables to hold my belongings
and pictures to remind me of my memories
and books to keep me occupied

My home has everything that I need

But my home
doesn't need me

My home
wants me to go
far, far away

My home doesn't want me to stay
